Image Alt tags being converted to lower-cased

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Insert an image using the image button.
2. Enter an Alt tag with capitals anywhere other than the first
character.
3. View this Alt tag and notice that these capitals have
vanished.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Would expect to see Alt tag as I entered it - seeing it all in
lower case without apart form the first character.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating
system?
Have tested in Firefox/Mac but suspect it's reproduced across all
browsers.
